The simple learnings from covid-19

Covid-19 lockdown has changed how we all live, love and work.
We live day by day. Knowing what is happening tomorrow but not knowing what next week will bring.
We love more deeply, knowing and realising what true love is and in all the forms that love can be shown and what it brings to our world. Distance is not normal and sitting meters apart from family is heart breaking and knowing that your deepest desire is simply to hold them, for me is the hardest part of lockdown.
I have noticed how much of my communication is unspoken, the grasp of a reassuring hand or the greeting hug, the power silence truly has. The lack of silence as there is now a need to “fill in the gap”.
Work, for us, has been relentless, challenging, heartbreaking, new and different and still very much full on even though it comes in a different form. We have embraced the challenge together and will always be stronger for it.
Learning to live, work and love all inside the same 4 walls and learning to give space when needed and love harder when it’s not. These life lessons will hopefully be taken into the new world post covid-19.
These have not been easy weeks, and even harder ones ahead, I hope that everyone can take a small piece of joy from this chaos and carry it with them in their heart moving forward.
